I’m natural with type 4 A&B hair (see 3rd pic), and I usually do my own hair but I come here for trims and all the things I can’t do myself especially when I need a good silk press. Some of them are great with my hair and others are learning. I gave 5 stars because they listen and use or products OR teach you why a product may not get you the results you are looking for and they’ll recommend you a different product. They also do everything thing here. Nails, eyebrows, body contouring, etc. Last time I went, most of the staff spoke Spanish except for one but it’s nothing Google Translate or Apple Translate can’t fix. I had a great experience at Gem!! The salon owner is always friendly and she will answer questions if you have any skincare or hair questions. The beautician did an amazing job with my wash, set, and cut omg I had people asking if I had a perm!! I am completely natural. I was nervous about getting my hair but she said it was time for a cut and I loved the outcome including my partner!! I highly recommend!!

Needless to say I was very upset when I went to Gems to get my nails done. The owner took her time and fixed my makeup to perfection!! When I walked out of there my nails, feet and face were birthday ready!! Ladies, this is the one stop shop! They do it all.. hair, nails, massages, facials.. you name it! This place is wonderful. Nicole is amazing with body contouring . She helped me with lipo massages tremendously. She is very informative and caring. I am going to get more treatments done with her. She makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed. I have done 4 treatments with her and my results are amazing.
